Here’s the opportunity to join us in a meal and see the fire trucks and apparatus we train and deploy daily to support our community.
Free will donation. All proceeds go to supporting JMFD equipment and training needs.

The current tuition for academic year 2017 is *$160.00 per credit hour. Students will encounter fees other than tuition and textbooks, throughout the course. The required EMS clinical shirt is available at the Kirkwood Bookstore for $35.00. Other course fees for academic year 2017 are as follows:
*FISDAP Registry $20.00 (Purchased at the KCC Bookstore)
*Background Check $45.00 (Paid to Certified Background)
*Immunization Tracking $30.00 (Paid to Certified Background)
*Practical Exam Fees $125.00 (Pay through Continuing Education)
*IDPH Certification Fee $30.00 (Paid to the IDPH with a money order)
*Retest Fees $20.00 (Must be cash)
*NREMT $80.00 (Paid at end of class when registering for NREMT)

Fire safety videos with Firefighters!
Bring your kids and join us for a fun filled afternoon of popcorn, juice pouches, and videos!
The Jefferson-Monroe Fire Department would like to invite you and your family for a fun and educational afternoon learning about fire safety, watching animated videos, and interacting with our very own firefighters and EMT’s!
We hope to see you all there!
All kids must be accompanied by an adult. Please park vehicles up top at the station, thank you.

The Jefferson Monroe Fire Department can be seen all over this two day event.
Friday evening – Kiddie tractor pull – Ages 4-11 yrs.
WHEN: Register at 6pm, Pull begins at 7pm
WHERE: 2nd Street in front of Library (72 2nd St, Swisher, IA 52338)
Kids compete by pedaling their tractors as far as they can with age appropriate weights. Free event to participate. Afterwards there are Juice Boxes, Ribbons and Trophies.
WHEN: Saturday, July 29th, 2017 Registration 6:30am-7:15am, 5k 7:30am, Kids Fun Run 8:30am

Race Start and Ends behind the stage at the American Legion Pavilion

Start your Early Saturday morning with the volunteer Fire Fighters and First Responders. They will be running along side you as well as monitoring runner safety and handing out water.
